Anne Perunko is a graduate of Kent State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance. Anne began her training with Ballet Theatre Ohio, later Great Lakes Festival Ballet, under the instruction of Jill Niess and later Richard Dickinson. Anne performed in many productions with Great Lakes Festival Ballet, including fifteen annual productions of The Nutcracker, of which she was also rehearsal director in 2005. Anne has also performed at Kent State University in faculty choreographed dance concerts from 2004-2007, and student produced works in 2005-2006. She has showcased her choreography including Mortal Transience, and Manifest Consciousness at Kent State University. Anne is excited to join Northeast Ohio Dance Academy, and is looking forward to her future in dance and education.
